I embarked on a pivotal, long-term collaboration with Isaac and Moore, a fashion brand founded by an exceptionally driven visionary. Believing deeply in his dream to build a fashion empire, I initially contributed purse designs which progressed to physical samples. This partnership grew from humble beginnings—often with me providing design support for minimal or no pay—fueled by a shared belief in creative vision. My sustained design contributions played a significant role as Isaac and Moore steadily rose, securing investors and achieving high-profile product unveilings with celebrities like Magic Johnson, Shaquille O'Neal, Usher, and Hilary Swank. This project exemplifies my commitment to mentorship, impactful design for entrepreneurial ventures, and the power of perseverance.
Approached by a client seeking a tennis shoe concept with automotive flair, I transformed their initial vision into a sophisticated design. My process involved treating the shoe's surfaces and lines with the precision and dynamism typically applied to an automotive project. This re-design focused on elevating the styling to a professional level, infusing it with dynamic aesthetics. While production costs unfortunately halted its full realization, this project showcases my ability to refine and elevate nascent ideas into compelling, visually striking footwear.
Ideating with St. Nicola's owner over coffee, I developed shoe concepts for Houston's luxury brand via live, iPad sketching. I focused on refreshing traditional shapes with subtle tweaks, dynamic color, and material exploration, showcasing real-time ideation and versatile footwear aesthetics.
